Obtaining a Telegram bot token

1. Find the @BotFather bot on Telegram

2. Send the /start command

3. Send the /newbot command

4. Set the bot's name and username

5. Get a Bot Token and save it

This token is specified in the module settings.

Getting the chat_id of a group or chat

Option 1 - via a bot

1. Add the created bot to a group or chat

2. Assign administrator rights to the bot

3. Send any message to the group

4. Follow the link:

5. Find the chat.id field in the response.

Option 2 - for private chat

1. Write any message to the bot

2. Open getUpdates

3. Copy chat.id
